Lake Villefort has been awarded the Blue Flag label since 2010 , reflecting the good quality of the waters, facilities and the efforts of the municipality in terms of environmental protection and education. Lake Villefort is open to sailing and motor boats. There are launches all around the lake and boats can be rented at the nautical base. Many activities are available to discover the lake: hiking, fishing, supervised beach, canoeing, windsurfing, pedal boats, treetop adventure park , via ferrata , etc. On the banks of Lake Villefort, a sandy beach has been set up, to allow holidaymakers to swim in complete safety. Swimming is supervised in July and August every afternoon from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. except Monday. Toilets and restaurants nearby.
