  • Departure from the Montbel suburb car park, on the banks of the Lot, in Mende. This route will take you to the Causse d'Auge. During the climb, turn around to enjoy the panorama of Mende, its historic center and its Gothic cathedral as well as the northern slope of Mont-Mimat. On the causse, observe the flora of the limestone terrain (orchids). On the way back, this route will take you to the Mende national forest with its large Austrian black pine forests.
