The Musée du Gévaudan spans 1,200 m² across three levels. On the ground floor, experience our interactive learning spaces dedicated to the region, in partnership with the Pays d'art et d'histoire (Land of Art and History). Enjoy our bookshop and café area, or the reading and games lounge. On the first floor, the permanent exhibition presents a diverse collection: fine arts, history, archaeology, ethnology, natural history… from the earliest times to the 21st century. Rich, varied, and accessible to a wide audience, it features over 500 pieces selected from the 16,000 in the collection. The visitor route comprises twelve rooms, allowing you to explore the collections through two themes: Nature & Culture . On the second floor, temporary exhibitions take center stage! Fine arts, natural sciences, photography… The theme changes every year. Admission to the museum is free; only the temporary exhibitions require a ticket. Check the Museum's agenda to discover our cultural program: themed visits, workshops, gastronomic events, conferences, concerts… There's something for everyone!
