  • This circuit starting from Rouffiac will take you halfway up the northeastern flank of the Causse de Sauveterre. On this section, you will have plenty of time to admire part of the Valdonnez valley as well as the "Truc" (small promontory) of Balduc and the blue marls that cover the lower Truc. The path will take you to the ruins of the castle of Montialoux, which you can admire during your descent.     This circuit starting from Rouffiac will take you halfway up the northeastern flank of the Causse de Sauveterre. The path will take you to the ruins of the castle of Montialoux, which you can admire during your descent. The circuit will then follow the course of the Bramont (tributary of the Lot) to return to your starting point. This walk will allow you to explore the old mandement (or castellany) of Montialoux. The mandement was, in the Middle Ages, the smallest administrative subdivision. That of Montialoux depended on the barony of Tournel. The castle, in ruins, evokes the dark hours of the Wars of Religion. Markings : yellow. Departure : Rouffiac stadium car park located 10 km from Mende via the N106 towards Saint-Bauzile.
