Located between the Cévennes to the south and Margeride to the north, the Chassezac gorges offer a wide variety of landscapes. With a canyon of more than 7 km and a drop of 400 m at the Belvédère de la Garde Guérin, the Chassezac is characterized by its rugged terrain which for a long time gave the gorges the name of "the Devil's den". To admire the immensity of the site, you have to go to the Belvedere set up north of the Guérin Guard. The roar of the water, the steep slopes, the rocky outcrops offer a grandiose spectacle.
