  • Like the monastic churches, the Malène can boast of its three naves. It was probably the monks of Sainte-Enimie who, in the 12th century, built it. The central nave, barrel-vaulted, divided into three bays by rectangular transverse beams, is supported by four enormous pillars. The apse in cul-de-four, semi-circular, takes in the light through three fan-shaped windows. It is flanked by two apsidioles, crowning the side naves. A chapel was added in the middle of the last century, to the north aisle; it contains the remains of the "martyrs of Malène", executed in 1793.
